1. Describe impact of ICT on society.

ICT is the technology required for information processing , in particular , the use of electronic computers, communication devices and software applications to convert, store, protect, process, transmit and retrieve informations from anywhere, anytime. The impact of ICT on society may consists of the good and bad things. Some people especially for the businessman , think that ICT played a major role in promoting productivity , such as selling and buying and enhancing effective communications. In spite of the numerous benefits derived from the use of ICT, its negative impact on society cannot be ruled out. The Minister indicated that the acquisition of knowledge through ICT and indeed education in general could salvage mankind from his woes and that there was the need for every individual to give attention to it for the development.

Other impact of ICT on society is among the students. Each students must take their studies seriously , adding that , education was the backbone of most developed countries and mentioned countries such as the United Kingdom, United States of America, China and Japan as countries that have realized speedydevelopment through education.
